Namaskar,

As your new President, I am honored to serve MMBA for the year 2007.
My team will be working under one simple slogan "Bringing Marathi community together".
This year we will adopt some very simple programs to help us focus on what matters -(that is you).

As we look to the future:
We will be committed to listen to community stakeholders - our members

We will introduce programs for all age groups ( Marathi School for Kids,Youth MMBA for youngsters, Networking events for adults, and parent get-together for our parents)

We will expand our reach from just delivering cultural programs to adding sports, picnics, hiking and other events

We will reach out to other Marathi organizations in Bay area

We will try to help other non profit organization that are working hard in Maharashtra and need our support
 
This year we have an excellent team and I am proud of the committee members that will be serving MMBA. Everyone from the MMBA 2007 team is looking forward to make the year 2007 different and exciting for the community. In return I will request you to support our team.

As you know, I alone cannot do this and I will need your support. I want everyone to feel that they are integral part of MMBA and "Proud Maharastrian". Everyone of us need to keep our differences aside and work together to help and support our community. The first step for this will be to become MMBA member and encourage others to become member. Stay tuned for exciting 2007 for MMBA.
