Then we can have some fun by playing Mangalagaur games like 'Zimma and Fugdi' at 11 am Followed by a scrumptious and delicious Shrikand Puri Lunch
Dress code would be traditional wear.

Sucheta Chapekar Dance Show and Workshop for kids

MMBA proudly presents "An Afternoon Of Dance with Sucheta Chapekar - 

NRITYAASWAD".

Come and witness Sucheta Chapekar's "Nritya Ganga", a perfect blend of Bharatnatyam and Hindustani music. Followed by "Anubandha", a dance workshop in the form of a participatory lecture demonstration.

Sucheta Chapekar is one of the finest Bharatnatyam exponents in India and an artist of rare individuality. Her research on traditional Marathi compositions of Tanjore and synthesis of Hindustani classical music with Bharat Natyam is well known and and has won her many accolades. Known for the purity of technique as well as innovation, Sucheta's performances are marked by grace and perfection in pure dance, restrain and subtlety in Abhinaya (expressional dance), lucid explanations and lilting musicality. During the active career span of the past forty years, Sucheta has made a distinct mark and substantial contribution as a dancer, teacher, researcher and choreographer.
