MMBA is proud to announce a program, a truly great historic celebration for Guru Purnima
A Guru can be worshipped from various angles because he/she has a multifaceted personality. But on Guru Purnima, we worship the guru primarily as the giver of knowledge which is the primary meaning of the word 'Guru'.
We are especially grateful to all gurus who play very important role in transferring the skills and knowledge to shishyas of Bay area. The purpose of the Guru Purnima celebration is to honor the gurus. For a seeker, Guru Purnima is a day of significance. It is the day to review one’s progress and renew one’s determination and focus on the goal.
Guru Purnima festival celebration is Homage to the teacher or guru. The guru or a teacher guides us in all conditions and gives us inspiration to walk on the right path in our life. So this is the importance of a guru or a teacher in our life.
We feel greatly honored to have Veenatai Sahasrabuddhe as chief guest for this program.
On this sacred occasion of Guru Purnima MMBA is proud to start a program which will involve various presentation from Bay Area Gurus (either performed by Guru or Guru+Shishyas or Shishyas). This will provide a single platform to Bay Area community where they will be able to see demonstration of various art forms from different Gurus.
